There's always a first !

Konnichiwa !
(English below)

Konnichiwa !

Where to begin ... it all began with the discovery that I was pregnant nine months ago. Our little dragon was due in July. At that time I had a lot of projects in mind but nothing really concrete but with this big upcoming change I decided to dive in, start my shop and share my passion and creations. Why this particular timing ? I thought I probably wouldn't have much time after July...1782 was thus created on Etsy and after a few hours spend with my new B.Fs, photoshop and illustrator, a new logo and pretty photos appeared.^^ Soon after that, a typhoon named creation hit me and my sewing machine went crazy. Little Dragon followed everything in utero and he did seem to enjoy it ;)

On July 13th, as planned we had the immense pleasure of finally meeting our 9 month project ! ^^

As a craftholic no need to tell you that I used those nine months to think of all the things I would be able to make for my little boy ! As I was on maternity leave, the last month was very productive ! I finished my friend's belated birthday present, send some orders, send some friends baby shower presents and finally sew a lot of accessories for my cute little baby !

I'll start by showing you the sling I made ! What is a sling, you  might ask  ? Well there are different kinds of slings : slings that are basically a long scarf of about 6 meters O_o, wrap slings, and pouch slings like the one I made. It's very easy to make and very useful to carry baby around when you want to have your hands free !

I just  had to find the right fabric...so I went to my favorite store in Shinjuku : Okadaya ! and it was love at first sight with Japanese fabric designer Kayo Horaguchi. I chose home decor fabric as you need a strong fabric to carry your baby around, especially when he weighs 4 kgs, well actually 5 kgs now !

See you next time with a post on cooking this time !
